To much ads

I’ve had this on my iPad for years. Don’t use it very often but this latest time I tried to use it, the ads are so invasive, you can’t even do a simple calculation without an ad filling the whole screen or nag screen blocking with an upgrade offer. I get that nothing is really free, but the developers need to find the balance between keep it marginally useful and making enough ad impressions to turn a buck.

Don’t expect to permanently get rid of ads even after you pay to get rid of them! I paid and had different colored layouts and no ads, THEN after an update or my upgrading my iPad lost all I had paid for! Back to really annoying ads. Find another calculator app! I sure will...

I really enjoyed the this app although it has to many ads that come out of nowhere besides that it’s a calculator

Ads, not sure why there are ads, plus they are bigger than the numbers. I can’t even remove them with the “X.”

The ads ruin this app. I get it that it’s free but your ads don’t need to hijack the whole screen.

I needed a calculator for iPad and this was the first item that popped up so I downloaded it. The app was basically unusable with the amount of advertisement pop ups. I deleted it right away. The unfortunate part is I would have happily paid for the app from the beginning if it were present that way from the App Store. But after my frustration with the free version, I’d rather not even bother or even financially support a developer who is putting such aggravating garbage out into the App Store.

I use this for my math homework, but adds constantly keep popping up

This app I huge because it is full of annoying add. Yes, you can pay, but there are way better options.

It is a calculator and it adds stuff good.

If youre thinking about spending real money to remove the ads, do yourself a favor and read some reviews by other people who paid for ad-free on the paid version of the app. They explain how the paid version removes the ad box at the bottom of the screen when using the calculator but doesnt remove that "one" pop-up ad that pops up every time you open the app. It advertises "recommended" apps, meaning other apps by this developer. (To the developer(s): I guess $3 isnt good enough, is it?) Aside from that, its an easy to use calculator (when not connected to the internet), and I love the paper skin, but there are many other calculator apps that have way more skins than this and that definitely give you your moneys worth.

I finally uninstalled this. The ads have gotten so numerous and persistent that it was more annoying than useful. Zero stars if I could.

DON’T DOWNLOAD, ABSOLUTE CRAP. UNUSABLE WITH THEIR ADS, CONSTANTLY TAKING OVER THE CALCULATOR RENDERING IT USELESS. BECAUSE OF THIS PATHETIC ATTEMPT AT HOLDING YOU HOSTAGE TO BUY THE UPGRADE I WILL NEVER BUY AN APP FROM THIS DEVELOPER AND NEITHER SHOULD ANYONE ELSE IF THEIR SMART!!

I paid for the ad free version a long time ago and it worked perfectly. Now after updating I am getting a ton of ads and cannot eat rid of them. I am uninstalling the application and finding another calculator. Goodbye and good riddance!!!

Completely frustrating to have an ad pop up in the middle of a calculation. Use banner ads! Deleted immediately.

I have to put my iPad on airplane mode so I don’t get irritating ads. Every time I’m in the middle of adding something up, boom! A video ad that I can’t exit out of. Or that stupid “please write a review” thing pops up. It makes it so slow that it lags the calculator. It’s ridiculous!
